They really have Veal Zurich Style, which is nice when you want to give your stomach a home-feeling. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are nice, but not very modern. But this review is about a weekend stay I just...[More]; I normally stay in this hotel when traveling to Kunshan on business, and I certainly agree with the #1 rating of this hotel for business in Kunshan. But this review is about a weekend stay I just had with my family (including 3 kids). If you have kids, they will love the kid's room set-up at this Swissotel. We got the kid's room package which included 2 adjoining rooms for a very reasonable price. For the kid's room, they transform the usually business smart decor into a kid's room that was simply over the top. They had bright and colorful kids linens, beds covered with really nice quality stuffed animals, a colorful table and colorful chairs placed on a colorful area rug, an easel with drawing paper and markers, games, a DVD player with 4 DVD movies. The bathroom was also outfitted nicely with kid's toothbrushes, toothpaste, colorful cups, and cute towels. They even thought to put a step stool for easy reach to the sink and colorful bath mat. What was over the top included kid's sized robes and even kid's sized slippers. After checking-in my kids didn't even want to go out. They said it was better than the Disneyland Anaheim Hotel. Anyway, parents (especially business travelers who may have their families in to visit), if you want some relaxation with your family and some quiet time of your own, I would highly recommend the kid's room package. It really situated in a great locality and has some good views from the hotel.The hotel has some unique and luxury experience which is typical swiss in decor, service and most importantly the way they take care of people. Great western food and some of the most friendly staff I have ever encountered and all speak english, which is remarkable considering this is a little city, away from the big cities. The service is just great. I stayed on the executive floor and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable (+ free drinks offered in their business lounge). I don't generally like travelling to China since I am a strict vegetarian and have a few food allergies as well, which can be an issue there, but the hotel went ouf of their way to accommodate all my requests.
