Established in May 1st, 2005 and renovated in April, 2010, the hotel is located at Dongsi North Street and Shichahai scenery spot, north to Songqingling old house, west to Houhai. Many bus lines can get there. There are 70 elegant and classical guestrooms and suites equipped with hot water for 24 hours, independent air-conditioning, and DDD.

The next thing I know is my two business associates arrived at the hotel at 11:30...[More]; I booked 2 rooms online for 2 business associates 2 weeks in advance of the trip and entered my credit card number. The next thing I know is my two business associates arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm after a 5 hour flight only to be told that they could not stay at the hotel unless the hotel received a faxed a copy of the front and back of my credit card immediately. I was 5 states away and in bed when I received the call. I had no fax machine in my home. It required a trip to the office at Midnight to fax the front and back of a credit card to the hotel. Why didn't the hotel bother to notify me that they required a copy of the front and back of my credit card? I could have made these arrangements well in advance had I known. I am very upset with the service my business associates and I received.; Service: 1

I am doing...[More]; There is a particular manager that is staffed at this hotel that is extremely rude and not accommodating to guest. SHE has no tact and has no business working in the hospitality industry. I am doing everything in my power not to call the news and have her investigated. If this hotel employs individuals of her low degrading caliber, then I prefer to take my business else where. There is no way on Earth that I would give monies to an establishment that would employ a low life like her. Staff is excellent, love the shuttle to the bars and then the bars shuttle to the game and back and forth. The guy staying to our right of us had his tv so loud after 10 we called and complained and after 10 minutes or so he turned it down. He was so loud we could hear him fart in the morning... The walls must be paper thin!!!!! The staff for our breakfast was nice and friendly. I hated the bed it kept filling back up on its own we put our # on the same and by morning it was back up again. Though I do not normally stay at Radisson hotels, the rate I received through the residency...[More]; I spent one night here while interviewing for a residency position at Medical College of Wisconsin. Though I do not normally stay at Radisson hotels, the rate I received through the residency program was $92 per night, and this place was just down the street from the interview site. The good: The parking was free and convenient (i.e. I didn't have to walk far with my luggage). The lobby was welcoming, open, and clean. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy, and the front desk staff members were friendly and helpful. One of the staff members even called my room shortly after I checked in to ask if everything was to my satisfaction, which I thought was a nice touch. The room was relatively quiet (though this may have been due to the fact that there was no one staying in the rooms immediately adjacent to mine). It was easy to connect to the wireless internet, and it was a fast connection. My room was clean and pretty spacious. They provided a free bottle of spring water. The hotel is also right next to a Walgreens and just down the street from a nice mall. The not-so-good: There are subtle signs of wear in the halls and rooms, such as old fixtures and cracked paint; you can really tell it's an older hotel. The worst thing for me was the bed. I had been sort of excited about the "sleep number bed" that was touted on the website, but I found it pretty uncomfortable and had a hard time sleeping. It felt like an air mattress to me, but I guess that's just a matter of preference. My overall impression was that it is decent place with very good customer service, and I might stay here again if it offered the cheapest rate in the area.; Value: 4 Rooms: 3 Location: 4 Cleanliness: 4 Service: 5
